water pump bolts!!!

2000 f350 diesel...last July my truck broke down in Massachusetts coming back to long island. Appears the water pump bolts backed out and shredded the belt and broke the pulley. After having truck and camper towed and spending 800 bucks we were back home. New pulley and belt were installed. Today while driving I heard a squeal and belt was off and bolts were backing out again. Don't know if pulley is damaged again but I could smell belt burning as it was caught. Can't check now it's only 8 degrees out and our blizzard just ended. The bolts had loctite so I cant figure this out...why would they back out..Again??? I did the water pump over but it was a year before the first incident in july.

That is strange. I have 3- 7.3's and have put water pumps on two of them, one of them twice, and have never had bolts back out. I did not use loctite on any of them.

Mind boggling..i need to know the bolt size now also but can't find it

Now that's strange...almost as if something is turning the wrong way. I've never heard of such a failure. Wish I could offer some suggestions, but I've never heard of this.
