Finally getting to some stuff.

Well my wife's sister sent her an airplane ticket to visit her in Atlanta, which I'm taking full advantage of. this week I finally installed my new bumper, and tonight I just finished installing that HP billet servo in my c4, that been sitting around way to long. That's more than Ive done in the last several months. LOL Now what, new x member and motor mounts, spring pins that I found in a box, on my parts shelf, or cast finned aluminum oil pan that's on order?????? Oh yeah my Mom got me one of those HF viewers with the camera and lites on a cable like a sigmoid LOL I would like to see what the motors po used for pistons when he rebuilt it, and had it in a bronco. I cant ask him as sadly he had twin quads on it and killed himself when he lost control of the bronco, from what I understand. For some reason I cant get the pic of the bumper to load, oh well, you all know what a SS bumper looks like right? Well folks that's my 2cents for tonight. I hope your all having a wonderful holiday.

The transmission sure looks nice and clean! It is always easier to get things done when alone, I know the feeling. I don't want it all the time, but nice once in a while...
Enjoy the rest of the long holiday weekend!

I spent half of yesterday installing windshield washers in my truck. I've had all the parts forever, I was just reluctant to drill holes in the cab. It would have taken less than half the day but there was a good Erik Clapton concert marathon on TV. Very distracting.

I'd have thought you'd had your fill of trans work, Jim!

Rusty, I'd be interested in pics of your washer install.

Jim,
When the wife is away, don't forget to wash your truck parts in the bathtub/dishwasher/kitchen sink.
Pan-fry meat on the stove - with no vegetables in sight. Medium-rare meat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cocoa puffs and Doritos for a late night snack.
Invite your buddies over that won't take their shoes off as they enter the house. Have them brings parts over and do all work on the dining room table.
Turn the music up to the volume setting that is two notches beyond 'Will you turn that down?'
Spray paint stuff inside, crack one window if necessary.

Maybe you've already got all this covered, but thought I'd mention it just in case.

Tom
