1978 XLT Steering Column problem
I have a 1978 Ranger XLT with Cruise & Tilt wheel. The place where it pivots is worn out and the steering wheel wobbles. Is there a fix for this? Thanks very much.

Welcome to FTE!
Have a closer look with the steering wheel off.
Maybe the tilt mechanism has popped a spring clip.
While I have your attention , You can do something for me, if you don't mind.
If you have an F-150
I need you to look at the back of the brake booster to see if the
brake booster push rod attaches to a hinged linkage or goes directly through the firewall right to the brake pedal.
Have a closer look with the steering wheel off.
