ok.. after installing my lift i now have.. i think.. bumpsteer. Is this when you go ovewr a large bump and it turns your steering wheel some? I know its not side to side, because it didnt do this b4 the lift. What are some cures for bumpsteer...if this is what it is? thanks.

Are you sure you're not just feeling a weak steering stabilizer?
What lift did you get?

Bumps will affect you steering wheel, but it is not necessarily bump steer. Bump steer comes from lifted trucks whose steering drag link is not in line with the track or panhard bar. If these are not parallel to each other the drag link will follow a different arc when the suspension goes up and down. This can cause more steering kick for a small bump, hence bump steer.

If your track bar is not parrallel with the drag link after the lift get a drop bracket or an adjustable one.

kehale- i know its not the stabilizer cause i have dual stabalizers w/ 35" tires, the day b4 i put on the lift it wasn't doing this, the day after it was.. thanks yall.. i have a drop arm.. well see..

I am not sure how a ford is configured, but with a center link idler and tierods to preserve the stock geometry (zero bumpsteer?) you would duplicate the tierod angles at the factory ride height. Raise truck = lower inner pivot points of tierods or lower center link. The parts must be available through the aftermarket. Hope this helps along with the above posts.
