Just got to work. Roads are mostly passable but only when the drivers are being safe. Still too many people out there trying to do 50mph on back roads in their "4 wheel drives".

Morning all. Hope everyone is staying warm. Reading zero on the porch this morning. So at 5:30 I took the dogs out and plugged in the truck. First time plugging it in, will see how it works.

Hope Tom got some sleep. New babies seem to put a end to sleep.

I had about -8 at 6:30 on my deck.
And they are saying rain for tomorrow.

 

It's really been crazy weather. After the rain we going to have another freeze.

John, how did the truck handle the cold weather? I was always impressed with mine, here's a video of my '11 starting at -10° without being plugged in:


Just started up, let it idle for about 20 seconds, put it in gear, and drove. Newer diesel engines do a fantastic job in cold weather.

 

I still haven't seen Newfoundland pics, so that didn't happen.

I did see a baby pic, so that actually happened...congrats!

I am getting my new medical insurance and I want to say (leaving politics out of it because that's against site rules and I don't care to debate with anyone) that if I bought the house I wanted to buy back in February, with a mortgage I could reasonably afford.....the "affordable healthcare" I am now forced to buy to avoid serious $$$penalty$$$ would force me to sell and move back in with mom and dad or get foreclosed on. That's all. End of rant.

Hopefully everybody has their gas bills paid or oil tanks topped off, my friend delivers oil and said a lot of people are running out in this nice freeze!
