got the truck buttoned back up last night. junked one of my intercooler tube clamps during the disassembly process and it won't stay on under boost, so it sits in the driveway another day.

About $1,500. That included some spare consumables (basically spare parts for torch). Miller does offer some cheaper models, I can't remember the exact model off the top of my head.
Far as welders, I've used some of Miller's "Autoset" welders, very nice units. Makes it too easy to weld like a pro without setting your beer down.
