I am building a custom 51 M-1 and am looking for a single inlet/outlet aftermarket rad for a 347 stroker. Anyone know of someone in Canada that can supply me with one?
E-BAY is probably your best bet . If your relatively close to the border get it shipped to one of the handling houses in Montana just south of Sweetgrass and go down and bring it across . That way all you pay is the GST .
Well you can have an aluminium rad made in Canada but it will cost you 900.00 or you can go to some place like Mopac and have them order you one and it will cost you 600.00 . I am pretty sure lots of the guys on FTE are running Chinese made rads.
You might want to give Superior Radiator a call, Their not in Canada but close and several form members have sucessfully used them. I got a new custom built aluminium radiator for around $300.00 delivered. Superior radiator - Home
The guy on Ebay that sells alum rads for 53-56 trucks under $200 said he could build any rad I need using those brackets.I am sure he handles yours as well.I was inquireing about a 4 core to use with a cummins.I would imageine what you need he could put your inlet/outlet any where you need them.I will see if I can find his seller Id.
I put a Griffin in my old car and in the spring /fall and when its in cold storage it seems to drip once in a while.I assume its because of contraction from cold.Just some fyi.

The sellers name is reliablerad.I have his phone number if you pm me.
The one I looked at seemed pretty reasonable.
It is not so much that they are Chinese, but they are shipped from China. No distributor in the US or Canada. What would the process be like if god forbid there was a warranty issue?
I bought an American Eagle rad for under $200.00. I had a seasoned welder buddy look at it and tell me it's well built. I'm only running a stock 5L / AOD, and should serve me well. It also has a built in trans cooler. Good luck.
I bought my radiator from them, and so did "old dan" He has his in service, I do not yet, but it looks good to me.
Yes...I did & it's working really well. It keeps cool even on those 100 plus hot days that we get once in a while. I'm using it with an 1100 cfm electric fan & no engine mounted fan. It is also a bolt in radiator....it fits the factory mount perfectly.
look on ebay for "champion" they are built in the US and have a life time warr. just find one on ebay and email the comp for info.. i got one for my Tbucket and its was great..
