Sup doooood... and hell no. Depending on what the storm is we may make sure to have some bread and canned things that we can heat up on the stove & not have to worry about it being refridgerated.

I know that the entire state was in one but there were only 3 counties in the western part of the state where the roads were actually closed.

That's crazy!! What if your are trapped in your house, for like a whole day! You might starve! What if it's two whole days! Oh, the humanity......

The worst I remember was back in 2003 when we got hit with a real nasty ice storm in early April. Power went out on Friday late morning and was restored late Monday afternoon.

Walk shoveled, mail picked up. Wind chill makes it nasty.

Almost done shoveling the driveway alone, maybe a hundred feet, mostly powdery snow.

Went out for a drive around 11:30 last night to take some pictures, will upload tomorrow I think.

Helped dig a friend out who has to park on the street and does not own a shovel...

I haven't even put the truck in 4x4 and have been driving through some 1' deep snow.

Morning Shaun. Just came in from shoveling the truck out. 0* makes it a little nippy. Didn't try to start it, don't have to go anywhere.

Morning Shaun.

George, when I started my truck this morning she grunted and groaned on the first couple of cranks but still started.

Morning Neil. Only made it to about 25 here today. The low tonight is going to be in the single digits. We still have a good breeze blowing right now.
