It was, but now she hates it. She's also now being forced to learn the viola too since somebody has said she needs to earn a scholarship, and there are fewer competing for that one. Oh, and she also has to take piano, and plays the oboe in the school band...

Knowing all the instruments is a good thing. I still play piano once in a while. When I was younger ( easy Pat) I played organ for church as a fill in. I still also play guitar. I did stop with the brass instruments tho
