Nice truck. Seems to be a 79. Looks like the roll bar I sold turbo hunter haha. And I believe only 73-77.5 F250s are highboys. F100 4x4's are just 4wd dents.lol I could be wrong though. And that guy gives like no info on the truck and needs more pics!

Also looks like factory push guard. Believe those wheels are MT bead lock style classic II

That's what I was thinking, no info other then the incorrect hi boy title he gave it, and wanting 8-14k for it.

Also look in the one pic. Looks like there is a spare hanging over the pass side in the middle of the bed?

I mean, it looks like a decent truck, but in my neck of the woods, that truck would sell for $5,000 tops. With no info given, the best I'd offer even in person is about $3500

In San Diego he could get $9000 tops. Closer to $8000 here believe it or not. Know a few people who paid outrageous prices for theirs. Oh wells!

I paid $2700 for mine...quit running the day after I bought it, and so far has needed almost $5000 of work done...just to make it legal/driveable.

I paid $5250 for mine and when I got it, it had new paint (7 years old at the time), rebuilt engine, 78 front end Dana 44 HD so had discs and was converted to power steering.... Well I wont say how much ive dumped into the money pit now but lets just say the paint is no longer new (clear coat started pealing 8 months after I bought it due to a half a** job done in mexico by the PO), the engine kept bending pushrods and breaking down, PS box tore off from the frame to see someone used a 2wd box, some moron put the hubs together wrong so I had the front axle repacked and put together right, also found out he lied and the truck was originally baby blue metallic instead of the dark blue he had it repainted and swears its the original color.... Anyway. Been one thing after another and I could have a 05 or newer Super duty by now. Oh well! My mistake and money pit has taught me a lot and I love it!

Holy *****!!! I paid 900 for mine... It looks like **** but it's been my daily driver for over a year now. Only let me down once but I was able to remedy the problem with a flathead.

Flathead V8 or screwdriver

And yea welcome to San Diego. A lot of wana be mechanics or rich people who think they are cool if they buy a old car. There is a hot rod shop down the street that some millioner owns and they buy and sell a lot of 50-70's cars and truck. Always overpriced and never know what they are talking about. Know a few buddies that went in their and totally leveled out the place on whats what and this isn't date correct and this is a mix matched parts car blah blah etc etc haha. they completely deny it but parts #'s and wrong engines compared to build data on the vin doesn't lie on 9 out of 12 cars haha
