444 vs hole

I figured I'd put this here to lighten the mood. I know most of you guys don't care but it was a catchy title and a fun day. I drove 8 hours round trip to get stuck in 14 seconds, she did really bad but a deep hole, weak hpop and going first in my class didn't help... Enjoy.

97'-4" was the final distance. I happened to come across this video this morning and it was from 2012

The 7.3 is a really heavy power plant for a boggin truck. Sounds cool, nice to see some black smoke too. I remember one time I was at a demo, and a guy transplanted a 4 cyl john deere diesel into a cutlass. It won the demo, neatest thing I seen in a while.

Oh man you aren't joking. That was the first and only time she's been in anything like that. It was sand and water and it just couldn't pull through. I didn't build it with that combination in mind. I build it around mud that has a bottom. It actually shines with the weight and tires I have in thick nasty mud. My tires dig and dig until they find bottom and something to grip to.

There was a haul truck that got stuck at the top of the hill that no one could pull out so I offered, I got him out. It was a 2wd dodge dualy with what seemed like a 100' long trailer hooked to it. I left 4 holes about a foot and a half deep but got him out.

Oh she lets me have fun and rides along but I think she'd be nervous I'd break something on that hole. The X is also pretty new to us and she wouldn't be happy if something happened to it.

She's sitting in the passengers seat in this pic. But of course she went shopping while I went to the car wash. Lol

Nice. My profile picture is what the truck looked like at the end of that day. The next day I parked the truck in the back yard got out the hose and she hosed it down for me. She's always scared I'm gonna break something too because she knows how temperamental the truck can be. I just say if I'm gonna mess something up I'm gonna put on one hell of a show doing it! Fortunately it's when I don't have that attitude things tend to break lol.

You can still get them used from a military surplus person or you can buy them new from tire rack the last time I checked.
