I expect the bars leak would partially/fully plug the other coolers? EGR, Oil? I used to use that stuff too "back in the day". Wouldn't do it now.

In case you missed my post. Mine failed in the same spot with 36080 miles. Service tech told me all 2011 rad's are junk. im thinking now all 2012 rad's are junk. Im also surprised that I didn't have to pay for it. But one thing still gets me is when they drained the rad fluid they found CASTING SAND in the fluid. OMG!! Now what has that sand done to my water pump?. How long will it last?

I got the report from the dealer at about 108k that the radiator had a leak. Cost was going to be about $1400 to replace. I've put about 8k on it since and have added a little less than a gallon of fluid, little bit here little bit there. I haven't spent too much time investigating the issue but it seems to drip after the truck has been shut off and is cooling down. I've sent a message to Crystal and see if she's able to assist. Other than a faulty EGR sensor when I first bought the beast this is the only issue I have had with her. Got 100k miles out of the factory Michilens so I was happy with that.

I owned a 2008 Superduty 6.4L and had 3 radiators installed within 135,000 miles on that truck, The 2011 Superduty 6.7L I had 120,000 miles on it and had no radiator issues . The 2013 Superduty 6.7L I just had the radiator replaced this past week the truck has a little over 19,000 miles. I also have a bumper to bumper Ford ESP up to 125,000 miles......

100k on a set of tires?!?!??!?!??!??!? that must be all highway. I have never seen more than 41k on ANY set of tires I have had on a diesel pickup. my factory generals were done at 23k, my bfg AT KO's that replaced them were toast at 28k, the super duty for me has worn tires at a much faster rate than any truck I have owned before. I also run my tires well beyond what most people do.

Yes I do a lot of highway driving. I actually drove around the block one extra time just so that it would be exactly 100,000. One of the tires had to be plugged at the 40K mark and for the last 20k I had to keep hitting it with air every couple weeks.

Dealer got mine today, 102xxx and been dripping after cool down past couple of days, about a 3-4 inch size wet spot coming from front frames under rad. PM'd Crystal and she responded within minutes (Thanks Crystal!).

And to BigF350's post...

I live outside of Greenville, SC where we've had some cold temps recently....it was 12F this morning when I started my truck.....

I am extremely concerned this issue has not been corrected. I have 1957 Ford Workmaster tractor and I had the radiator rebuilt in 2011. Why does my $60,000 truck have lower quality radiator than a $1290 tractor known as one of the best tractors ever made?

Early sign of failure? My '12 (20,000 miles) isn't visibly leaking yet but I can absolutely smell anti-freeze at shutdown over the past 2 weeks.

Got my quote from the dealer...$1400 total. Radiator was around 900 and labor the rest.

Question for those who have had a replacement....Are the replacements holding up? Has Ford upgraded tank supplier or specs? I have early 2011 build and since the OP has 2012 does it appear they've improved?

Just curious.

I just ran into the same issue everyone else is having with a radiator leak lower driver side. This is on a 2012 6.7 with 55k. just noticed the leak and was quoted 1900 to repair it... Trying to resolve the issue through the dealer but its not looking good.
