04 Mazda Tribute
I am posting this for my brother. He has a 2004 Mazda Tribute. It is a 4 cylinder 5 speed 4x4. He was leaving work this afternoon and when he pushed the clutch in at the red light it died on him. He tried to restart the vehicle but it would not do anything. It wasn't like a dead battery, all of the lights and everything else work but the truck would not even attempt to start. He said that the theft light, (SUV with a Key in it) began flashing really fast and that the door chime kept going off. He unplugged the PCM and plugged it back in and it started and has run fine since. What could be causing this to happen?
