91 f-250 lift amount

i own a 1991 f-250 and i am interested on lifting it and putting on 36by14.5 baja belts. I am wondering if 6" will be enough and if 4.56 gears would be a good choice with 36's

That amount of lift should work You can run 35" with 4" of lift so you should be o.k.

You can fit up to a 38 inch tire with a 6" lift and minor bumper trimming/shimming.
