2000 Excursion questions (just bought it)
I just bought a 2000 Excursion V10 and have a couple of questions:
Two of the door lock actuators are tired, I can see the door lock move a little, but they don't fully move the lock. They are $42 each at the dealer, so no biggie, but does anyone know of any tricks to replacing these?
The other thing is the keypad on the door. How do I reset that? I don't know the factory combo or what it is currently set to. Any hints?

Your dealer can hook up the computer to the truck and get it for you. He might charge you for it. If you're having something else done at the dealer you might mention that you don't have your code and while they have the computer hooked up to it they can get it and hopefully won't charge you. Pushing the last 2 buttons on the right will lock the car so at least you can do that until you get your code. Welcome to the boards.
