120k miles, rebuilt front end, and in process of replacing rear brake caliper that exploded but still pretty happy with the truck.

2008 F350 6.4 auto crew SRW 4x4 w/ 74K+ miles.
Bought it used in May 2013 w/ 51K+. I mostly love this diesel gulping hog.
When I bought it and still at the dealership a check engine light was on ...EGR had to be replaced at their expense. Three days later a trans "module" fried and was replaced about 45 days later when the dealer could get one (apparently these are very popular),before I had it it was mostly regular maintenance according to OASIS.
Trans filter and fluid at 59K.
I think that's it.

Should make something clear. I did have to rebuild the front end but Im also lifted 6" and running 35's. So not really the trucks fault.

Ran into a gentleman yesterday with an '08 with ~180,000 miles on his. Owned since 50,000 and couldn't recall any issues.

They are very good engines with proper maintenance and do great with mods too

118,000 miles,,,

Other than cracked DPF at 7,000 and drive train stop/go knock at 28,000, no major issues??? DPF and slip yoke cleaning/tightening covered under warranty.

Since 100,000 the radiator replaced due to leak, cold weather white smoke (seems to resolve with cleaning exhaust routine), and occasionally a reduced engine power on startup (after being parked for a few days).

Last few weeks, have noticed power steering fluid leak,,, considering use of stop leak,,, no problems noted with steering or unusual sounds.

Don't use that stuff, especially if you have hydroboost brakes.

Hey SENIX appreciate the heads up,,, thanks, I won't use stop leak. Monitoring leak at line connection top of steering gear box,,, Located in tight spot so not sure if I can take up the line nut to try and stop the leak. Hate to go to the dealer.

Mine has 130,000 km's on it.

There are lots of commercial used 6.4's with 200-300,000 km's all stock still run like new.

200,505...as of the trip in from work this evening. No major repairs that I am aware of...original motor, trans and transfer. Averaging 20.6MPG (on the cluster) on my route to and from work...mostly interstate.

Glad to hear these trucks are lasting. As much as I would like a newer truck and engine, I hate the 11+ body style so I will be sticking with the 08-10. My 5.4 has treatede very well and does everything I need it to do so I'm sure I will be more then happy adding a 6.4 to the family.

I just replaced the block heater right before the -16 below from last week. Trucks has been a good runner for the last 4 years. 2010 f- 250 4x4 four door short bed 6.4 l.

36,400 miles on my '08 F350. DPF fell off early, around 5k mark. At 20k I changed every fluid to the best synthetic I could find.
Absolutely no mechanical issues yet.
My tuner is Edge. I run it on the mild setting. It has enough power to do what needs doing but is notably less potent than my prior 7.3 with the mild Edge tune.
At the rate I am using this truck it may be the last truck I ever own so I spare no expense for maintenance . I just wish the TPMS had an "ignore" feature because I refuse to spend the money to change out the monitors for a feature I neither want or need.
