ok i am building a 302 and my girlfriends dad has an fmx transmission. what is good about them is there anything special that would suit a performance setup or do you think i should just go with a c4. either way i am going to get a shift kit

first thing I would do is thinkabout an overdrive tranny. If this is not what you want, get a c6. it is tougher than fmx or c4.

i have a c6 but they take too much power to drive it 60 more hp than c4 and i cannot find a shift kit for it but i am sure they make it.if i can't figure out anything else i will have to use the c6
