Depending on what price I might be interested but last time I seen a group buy it still wasn't exactly a bargain IMO

From Redhead:

Here is a list of most of our Ford pieces. I've been told that if you have some people interested in the group buy, but do not have Fords, it will still be OK to be part of it.

From a high of $546 exchange for the 2010 (if you have a 2010 we need to know a production date) and up SuperDutys. $496 exchange for the 07 1/2 to 2009 SuperDutys. $446 exchange for the 05 to 07 1/2 SuperDutys. $356 exchange for the 2000-2004 SuperDutys. $356 exchange for the 77 1/2-79 F-250 and 350 4x4s. Also, $346 exchange for 76-79 F-150 4x4 and 78-79 Broncos. $296 exchange for the late 97-99 F-250s and F-350s with 32 splined output shafts---not with 36 spline. $266 exchange for the 80-97 1/2 F-150 through F-350 2wd, 4wd, vans, rangers, etc. $266 exchange for 1970-79 F-150, F-250, and F-350 2wd. $476 exchange for the 1965-69 2wd with BENDIX power steering gear. $326 exchange 68-75 1/2ton 4x4 with manual steering. Same for 68-75 Bronco with manual steering. $256 exchange 65-79 F-100 through F-350 2wd with manual. $396 exchange 1968-77 1/2 F-250 and 350 4x4 with and without power steering. Same steering gear, different ratio. $356 exchange 73-77 1/2 F-250 and 350 with BENDIX control valve. $346 exchange Ram cylinder for same vehicle. $356 exchange 1975 F-100 4x4 with Garrison Control Valve. $346 exchange Ram cylinder for same vehicle. $356 exchange 1968-72 F-250 and 350 with Garrison valve. $346 exchange Ram cylinder for same vehicle. $246 exchange 68-74 Econoline Van with or without power steering. Same steering gear, different ratio. $246 exchange 75-82 Econolines with Saginaw steering gears. I think that pretty much covers the Ford trucks.

Basically, we would do from 5-15 pieces --- $30 discounts on parts over $300 excluding the control valves. $20 discounts on gears under $300.
16-25 pieces --- $40 off on parts over $300 excluding the control valves. $30 discounts on gears under $300.
26-35 pieces ---- $50 off on parts over $300 excluding control valves. $40 on gears under $300.
36 pieces or more ---- $60 off on parts over $300 excluding control valves. $50 on gears under $300.

These discounts would be taken off the prices given above. Control Valves and Cylinders would count in the total number of pieces but would be discounted always at $20 off.

Buy dates are set, Jan 13,14,15. Call them to place your order,(800-808-1148), tell them you are part of the "group buy", and discounts will be awarded according to how many units sold. You do not have to mention the forum.
Thanks Carl

The internet is full of bad things but this is not one of them sir. I just need a new gearbox and this gets me and everyone involved a better price. Been done on this site a couple times already, this probably won't be the last.

So how much would a 79 f250 4x4 box be to rebuild? Sort of confused on the pricing part. Do you get back your box you sent and get charged more for anything needing replaced or do you get back a replacement already in stock (core). Will they drill the box for ram assist steering? And do you pay shipping to and from separate from the box price?

$356 minus whatever price reduction we get based on the units sold. Price is for a completely rebuilt unit, no extra charge, assuming you have a good core. Im hoping they have one in stock to purchase outright, then send my box back for a refund of core charge. My truck is my DD so dont want it to be down for 1-2 weeks. Shipping to and from is extra. I do not know about ram assist, call them at the provided number, they seem like super nice folks.
