So, is there a core charge involved here? Is that why it says ” exchange?” Would I need to know more than make, year and model?

Yes there is a core charge, about $100 I think, that is refunded promptly when your gearbox is returned. This is one of the few times that a credit card is useful, by the time your bill arrives the core charge has been refunded. Make, year, and model should be all that is needed to get the correct gearbox, assuming you still have the original type unit.

I'm doing this as part of a Saginaw pump conversion. I've had the other parts together since last spring.

Yep all original. So then there is a shipping charge on this right. Any idea the best way to get the old steering box back to them? Is there a lead time on these? I guess I could just call next week and ask myself. So basically, we are ordering these on our own and they are giving us a discount based on our affiliation and order time period. So, we really don't have to organize ourselves in any way? Just call, mention this post, and get whatever discount we qualify for?
