Need help decoding my VIN

Hi Guys,

Could I get your help decoding the VIN on my 69 crewcab, 4x4?

Serial #: F26YCE81990

Need help decoding my VIN

Serial #:

F26 = Gas Powered Pickup code = F-250 4x4

Y = Engine = 352 or 360

C = Plant built at = Ontario Truck

E81990 = 69 consecutive build number

WB Wheelbase = 149"

G= Exterior Color = Chrome Yellow

F262 = Gvw code= F250 4x4 =6500lbs

4 = Interior = Med beige

81 =Body style = Conventional

G = Trans = Cruisomatic

24 = axle= Dana 60 - 4.10:1

K =

07700 = GVWR =7700 lbs


175 = 175 Horsepower

4000 = at 4000 rpm

B60313 = special order number from Western Canadian
dealership ?

Thanks Mil1ion,

Where did you get the G code for the tranny? It is a 4sp and I'm pretty sure it's stock. Also does anybody have any breakdown on the number of crewcabs built and how many of those were stepsides?

Well then, You are missing a Letter for the trans .

manual Trans are from A-F
