So I put a new 2013 bed on my 2000 crew cab, the old fuel filler pipe doesn't work real well, the end of the pipe is lower than the hose into the tank. I can make the connection but I'm guessing it won't be real easy to fuel up. Do I need to get a new fill pipe or is there a better way to modify the old pipe?
The 2000 has a 1 1/2" rubber hose between the tank an the pipe and a 3/4" rubber hose on the vent line. I have no idea what the '13 arrangement looks like or if it will fit the 2000 tank set up. Anyone else have a good solution?
I am thinking of cutting 8" off the old pie to raise it up a bit so the flow is mostly downhill but the angles are still a little off.
