I love my old van...I pull my camper with it and take it on longer trips because it is so roomy and comfortable for the family! Right nor the blower motor is making a hideous noise (bearing noise). I'm quite sure I need a new blower motor...but I don't know where to begin, or wheterr this is a job I should try to tackle. I usually am prety capable..(novice mechanic)..but a blower motor! I've never done that!Elevtrical is out of my realm of comfort..I don't even know where it is..under the hood or buried in the ductwork in the dash and how to get it out? Please someone advis me! I don;t have the money to have it serviced professionally
Thank you!

blower motor is usually located under the dash in passenger cars
with or without a cover. usually screwed in to the bottom of the
air duct with wires sticking out. behind glove box. in trucks, alot
of them are in the engine compartment connected to the housing
against the firewall in front of the passenger seat. all you have to do is disconnect connector and remove motor w/ squirrel cage
out of housing. cause of noise might also be leaves sucked into
vent and going around in squirrell cage. you might check that first.
while your at it, check the readings of the motor to see if it's in
spec. your van should be basically the same as the f-150. hope this helped. good luck.
