F trucks are well known for being the biggest selling vehicle in North America for years so its no surprise you guys have oodles of them in various states of condition.
They sold well in Australia too, and in the '70s our population was just 12,000,000. Despite having a great truck I look daily online for possible deals, and the vast majority come up in Victoria. Anyway, to pay $10k in truck of that condition in Australia would be expected, if not considered cheap. Rust free trucks in Australia are few and far between, and you never find a roadworthy one under $3,000.

makes me wana buy'em here an ship them over to yah
I like the truck but it's a $7K max truck in my opinion. A/C issues are expensive enough and you never know what else one could run into when fixin the A/C compressor.....

Been thinking the same thing, just need the left to right conversion. But the market here is limited and F trucks are on the verge as "classic" but not so much like (of all cars) the VW Kombi Van is (which is having a popular restoration resurgence at the moment in Sydney. Damn hippies are everywhere!!).
