302 and I really have no idea what options/packages are on it. Bought it used, way too rich for a new truck for me. We gave $25k for it, two years old, and only had 18K on it. Guess I should chase down the VIN and see what I do have.
Hey Bob, nice looking truck and I like the Kodiak Brown. There was one on my local dealers lot over the summer so I know what it looks like in person.

I recently got my 'newer truck, well in September. A 2011 F150 Super Crew 4x2 with the 5.0 Coyote engine, and also is solid Kodiak Brown. I've only seen three this same color, that wasn't two toned with the gold bottom, and they were all the King Ranch.
Most of my trucks have had names, this is "Bear" when we finally got to take him home
It's a Texas edition, and I can't find anything that tells me what that really is, and ideas?
Unk Bob
I'm not sure that's Kodiak Brown? That look like the Bronze they had back in 2011/12?? Kodiak is a really dark brown, looks almost black if not in direct sunlight. Still a nice color you have there. My last eight trucks were white, in fact I haven't owned a vehicle that wasn't white in over a decade and have had 18 since then.
I'm glad I got silver this time to break the insanity of constantly getting the same colored vehicles everytime. Actually wanted a Kodiak brown F-150, but they don't come in FX pkgs and was hard as heck to find any with Max Tow when I needed to buy.
You are absolutely right! I really thought it was the Kodiak Brown until another post showed to see the original window sticker. Then found it is Golden Bronze.
I had a remote start with alarm on my last truck and would like to have another. But that's WAY too many wires for me. I tried to install one years ago on my wife's 95 Taraus. I got as far as putting the decal on the shroud of the radiator warning that the vehicle had a remote starter. And the truck was enough money already so we passed on the dealer ad on's.
Supposed to hit 62 here today, sunny the rest of the week, so it will get a bath!

Bob, that's the beauty with the Ford remote start on the 2011 and up F150's. Its all plug and play. No splicing, soldering etc. It only took about 30 minutes to install.

Did you have to have the dealer flash the computer to get the remote start system "active" after install?
