chip or programer?

I have a 1997 ford f150 4X4 with the 4.6liter engine. Which of the two would be a bonus to my truck?? a chip or a programer/tuner.

Get the SCT tuner from 5 Star. That way you can have multiple tunes at your disposal. A chip would be good if you had done a bunch of mods to your truck and only wanted max power then getting a custom chip may be the way.

I dont know much about 5 star. Does it allow for tweaking or custom tunes to be stored in the place of one of the factory tunes?
