King Pin?? Squeak
However, today as I was driving home, I noticed this terrible squeaking sound coming from the front-end. I came home and put the truck up on ramps and had my brother turn the wheel for me. The king pin on the passenger side would have liked to deafen me. I went and got the grease gun, figuring it was just a little low.
**note:I do grease all my fittings at every oil change**
It was to no avail. It seems that the bushings are going bad inside the steering knuckle.
I know that all the rubber bushings under the front end are stock, as most are beginning to tear and not in that great of shape.
My question is this...If I decide to rebuild the front-end, what is it gonna cost me?
Here's a wish list of the things that I know need to be done.
1. King Pins
2. All Rubber Bushings
3. Shocks
4. Ball Joints
I am afraid that if its too much, it may be a goner. I'd rather not sink a ton of money into it right now as I am in the process of planning a wedding.
Please guys, any and all suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Ken

I don't have current prices but this is a pretty cheap front end to rebuild. I would replace the steering linkage also.
