If you talking about maintaining the TTB and converting to leaf sprung, DONT DO IT! The F250s of this era had leaf sprung TTBs and suffered from excessive bushing wear, extremely limited suspension travel and poor ride quality in comparison to the coil sprung TTBs. The axle beams of the TTB system force the leaf springs to twist during suspension travel, which causes major issues.
If your talking about performing a SAS, The 73-79 Ford D44s are 99% bolt in and maintain the coil and radius arm setup to deliver better ride and suspension travel.
