I thought this might be interesting, that this would be a thread where anyone can post pictures of dentsides that have been forgotten, abandoned/scrapped. So that those trucks will still live on!
Bought this one just for the motor (someone with WAY to much time and money built a mean 504 and then abandoned it, a farmer wound up using it for a fire wood hauler till I got it. Wound up pulling a few misc. "just in case" easy to pull parts then put her to rest. R.I.P.
The first of many...The only thing I got from this truck was the T case and trans. I gave $500 for it thinking I could use the frame...it was shot too.
Pretty expensive education:
2nd hunkojunk gave up driveline. Slightly better investment. Slightly!!!
Honestly....I wish both were still parked out back, you just never know when hunks can give up another needed part.
Here's mine. It was abandoned up in the woods for a long time, the last registration/inspection expired in August 2000. The battery is dated 2011 though, and even as it sat in the woods it had clean oil, coolant and new ignition. Soon it'll be back on the road... The biggest problem is that the PO (or maybe PPO, or maybe PPPO...) also abandoned the title
On the blue/silver one, sold a ton of parts off it, then away she went. I was still in mid strip of it when the pic was taken.
Red&white was sold to a fellow FTE member then sold again shortly there afterwards, so who knows.
The 2wd CC left on the trailer for PA to get a full restoration, so the guy said?
The gold hood full of wire to the left of the trailer is all I have of a 79 F250 reg cab 2wd. Did not even get a pic of it.
The red flat bed has breathed a ton of new life and 4 wheeldrive drive capability to another FET members truck. Complete frame and running gear swap. And the cab went to another FTE members truck, ol Kabluey.
The first 3 are supplying parts to the FTE community and some to keep the next 3 running. lol
Bronco way in the back is gone to another FTE member, recently re-sold.
