Heated Seats question 2003 KR
I have seen a lot of threads about the elements failing and needing to be replaced. Happily, I was able to get the dealer to replace the element in my driver's seat shortly after I bought my truck from there. I have noticed that there is only one setting on the heater -- HOT!!! I'm thinking the high heat may be too much for the wires, and that is why they fail. My wife's GMC has heated seats and there are 3 settings for the seats. Does anyone know of a retrofit that can add a lower setting or two to the heater? Thanks in advance.
