Explorer transmission question...
My friends 1998 Ford Explorer, V-6, 4 spd, 4X4..needs a transmission. What years and models use the same tranny?

Explorer transmission question...
I believe the manual tranny in the X (not very common in the later years) was the same for the entire first two generations. If there were any changes to it, I would guess it would have been in 95 when the X was redone.
