So I went out and checked the fuel filter this AM and it was not full. so I drained the fuel pump and it looked bad. Pulled the filter and it was badly jelled. I changed filters and yes OEM and it started up and ran great. I think I just learned a lesson about draining the fuel pump. Don't ask how long it has been it's to embarrassing. Thanks for the help.

You mean you removed the drain plug on the HFCM (Horizontal Fuel Conditioning Module) on the frame rail beneath the driver, where the MAIN fuel filter is located? Then you replaced that filter AND the one on the engine.
BTW, low fuel pressure can ruin your injectors..
You should drain the HFCM - at least - on each oil change (5k miles), and replace the fuel filters every 10k miles..
You should also look at getting the upgraded HFCM drain plug, it has a knurled **** on it vs. using an allen wrench which strips out the hole.. Makes it MUCH easier to do this regularly..

Yes I know it is bad for the injectors and yes I know I should have been draining it more. I thought if I posted what I didn't do and what it caused someone might learn from my mistake. I ordered the drain plug from RIFF RAff this morning. And again thanks for the help. The truck is running great.
