Can you post a picture? The recall didn't involve cutting any wires, so you should probably figure out what those wires are supposed to go to.

They come out of the fusible link they installed.it comes out of the front of the resovoir to a fuse.then this plug comes out of the fuse link then the wires are cut before they go out to a mess of wires up by fuse box

You have to either upload it to your gallery here, or use a third party site like photobucket to upload the photo to and then attach it from there. You can't attach it directly from your computer.

The recall involved unplugging the factory connector from the master cylinder and installing the fused pigtail between the factory harness and the master cylinder. Kind of like just adding an extension cord inline.

Need to zoom out a little bit, but it appears your cruise control recall harness is intact.

Where exactly do those cut wires lead to? Up by the firewall? Are they the pass thru wires Ford provides for wiring accessories inside the cab?

I just noticed that looks to be electrical tape on the other end of the plug you're talking about, not wires coming out the other end. My 02 doesn't have an under hood fuse box, but if no one else chimes in, I'll look at my wife's 01 tomorrow and see if the wires from that plug go to the under hood fuse box or seem to match in color.
