Replacing the C11 power steering pump question.
I am about to replace the complete C11 power steering pump assembly and its pulley in my 1992 F150 4.9L.
Once the new unit is installed and the hoses are connected do I simply top the pump reservoir up with PS fluid or does any kind of bleeding (air purging)process have to take place?

Replacing the C11 power steering pump question.
No bleeding is necessary. It will purge itself into the reservoir. Cycle the steering a few times, you may have to add a little more fluid.
