You are totally right, shipping charges from USA to Kuwait is $3200+/- in additional to the custom duties.

Ha ha ha

I estimate that truck to be about $8k to $10k in Sweden today.

I payed about $11,5k for 7 years ago, today its worth about $16k with little work done to it (before I tore it apart)
You dont know how blessed you are over there ;-)

Zord, too bad about the F5 and Kuwaiti regs....

But perhaps a blessing in disguise for you as I think it will be easier to modify an F1 than a big truck. You may be able to find one with mods to your liking already dome.

Another blessing is that you won't anger any of us stockers that hate to see a stock truck in good shape modified, especially a big one which could be a difficult task to do correctly.

Ya know Abe this may well be a "blessing in disguise" and not just for Zord.
We see Craig list and Ebay ads posted on here all the time. We could post
links to trucks for him here. Than when he sees one he like someone close
could check it out for him, get it to run and stop and lights working for him
so he can get it into Kuwait.
This could be fun as the best part for me is getting them to run.

Abe ...

I can feel and see what you say and since my project stopped upto this stage.. let me disclose what I was going to do... look at below drawing. The above part is the original shape of F1 truck, and below it is what I was going to make it..

and NO .. I'm not going to do that if I got original F1 truck

So you want to lean the top of the cab forward to mimic mid-50s Ford and Chevy cab styles? Why go through all that trouble when you can buy a truck that already has this cab design?

I think the whole point of Kuwaiti regs is, they don't want junk coming into their country. Anything not nearly 100% is junk to them. Same situation shipping to Australia and many other places. Horror stories abound.

I am a stock type of guy and I would never pay that price for that truck and then shipping fees tax and toll upon that ...... there are better options available.

The front suspension has a bandaid (coilover springs) to cover up a poor lowering job, but you was going for a MII fornt if I dont remeber wrong so that is not a problem then

Well good luck it your decission in the end not mine

For $8k you'd be able to find a nice stock truck, but since you want to modify, a non-stock truck is perfect. This doesn't look too bad for what you want.

That's what I was was thinking also. But if the OP is anything like me
the funds he has are burning a hole in his pocket and rapidly draining out.
So the sooner he (I) would make a buy the more I (He) would have for it.
