Equivalent model years?
Hi, I don't know if this is the right forum or not so I'm sorry if it isn't. I just got an '88 F150 with the I6 and 3spd auto. It needs some work so I'm planning on going to the junkyard to pick up some parts. My question is, What model years are equivalent to the '88. More specifically, which other years of F150 will stuff like the the hood, tailgate, bumper, suspension etc be interchangeable with the '88. Thanks.

1987 thru 1991 are the same body. As far as the drive train that covers years up to and including 1996. EFI came out in 87, the engines before that were carburated but I am sure the transmissions and axles were the same before that.
