3" Drop I-Beams

Hi guys,

I scored a complete 3/4 lowering kit made by Chassis Tech third hand through a mechanic at work. From what I can tell to buy it new would be about $1000.00 for all the pieces (rear shackles/hangers, rear shocks, front shocks, drop I-beams all powdercoated) but I got it for $150.00

My truck is a 93 F150/2wd/ext cab/sb and my mechanic buddy couldn't remember the year of the truck the original owner of the kit had so I decided to phone Chassis Tech/Airbagit to try and find out if it would work. None of the components have part numbers stamped on them, all I could find was
F150 on one of the i-beams.

It didn't have any of the original paperwork with it so when I phoned Chassis Tech all I had was the original order number that was listed on the box. I was told by the guy down there that the original order was for a 1983 F150 so the drop i-beams wouldn't work for me but I could use all the rear components.

But after doing some looking around on line at pictures of various drop i-beams it would appear that mine may be for the 87-96 models after all. From what I can tell the differences between the 80-86 and 87-96 models is that the 80-86 have the ball joints mounted in the beams and the 87-96 are mounted in the spindles. Mine don't look like the holes are big enough for the ball joints to be mounted in.

I am hoping someone on here might be able to take a look at these pictures and tell me if they are in fact for the 80-86 models or for the 87-96 models.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer
