1955coe vin no.
I recently bought a 1955 c600 I was told it had a 256v8 could that be right?
I thought that was a merc. motor. is that a good motor? the vin no. is
C60Z5R26344 can someone decod this for me? I would like to know more about this truck.

5 = 1955
R = Richmond CA Assembly Plant.
26344 = 1955 Numerical Sequence of Assembly.
