Good luck.
I've been after one for a long time.
There are VERY few new ones made.
There's a connect off of Ebay and anything new is mucho cheese.
Finding an old one is REAL tough.
Of course some guys just seem to trip over the good stuff.

Whoops I tripped again, lol the roll bar/light bar on the right in the pic, I think, is out of a pace truck? Its the same diameter as the OEM push guard, but not for a flareside.

Bigbruce I am sure there are some on line businesses that make aftermarket "universal" ones that are 3" light bars and black or chrome.

Go Rhino

Try the craigslist first, or about any good local welding should be able to whip you one right up for a little less than a mail order one.

Exactly who I was thinking of.

I call that part the Ford "LOT" and then there is the Ford shed and or "the line up". Here I am going to a swap meet with 35's, 2 sets of 37's some 15x38's, a few Ford lift kits, intakes, bunch of rims.

The guard dog (Taz) is a fellow FTE members that had the table of models and more Ford parts too.

sorry

Ok enough all this and lets get back to getting the PO a light bar.

Now I know where all the black door panel's are hiding.
Have any none xlt black panels their? I don't like the fugly 77-79 xlt panel's. Really hate the fake wood insert. Lol.
I need a set of plain standard black panel's. I have the older xlt chrome trim to put on later.

To the OP....

If yer dead set on a roll (light) bar but can't find one (like me), consider re-purposing and modifying a ladder rack off a van. The 'yards are filled with 'em for dirt cheap. I got a pair for $26. Another benefit is that it casts light down the trail instead of through the cab and on your neck.

Me too and I was very bummed out to find there is only one option (so far) - Go Rhino. I priced a chrome one out at Summit - a double with a single kicker that mounts on the inner fender hump plus the light bar attachment and (4) 130w KC daylighters... ready for this... drum roll... $1,577.08

My biggest fear is that its made in China and would start rusting after a couple years being outside.

I want some '70's fender flares too but there is nobody making em.

Good luck and keep us posted if you find one.

I got black wheels last time I got what I got. I regret it. I wish I'd have stuck with good ol' white American Racing.

You should buy white ones, swing by and trade 'em out.
