Blower Motor resistor?? HELP
its a 77 f150 Ranger XLT , the blower is well embedded inside the cowling. It took most of a day to replace it LOL. I will look for it though on the ouside of cowling.

You can run a ground to anything, as long as the metal is bare. There should be a long strand of metal that runs from the hood to the body. I would use that.

I replaced the motor few years back. When I put new evaporator in, I looked at it and its still nice and shiny. Theres hasnt been a need to run the fan because it had no AC.
Are you talking about a grounding strap from the hood?
Which wire (in the harness) is the ground?? I can just splice it and make a better ground under dash.
