I just got the truck so i dont know how long its been doing it. Also the clutch pedal squeaks. Any suggestions on to check whats next or whats wrong?

How many miles on your truck? All the other gears work ok?
When you filled the clutch master cylinder did you remove the rubber cup from it in it?
Quite often it's not the pedal that squeeks but the slave cylinder. If you listen carefully under the dash and under the truck you might be able to tell where it's coming from.
I left the rubber thing in it and filled it to the step. The truck has bout 73000 miles on it. Wheres the slave cylinder located under the dash? What could be wrong in there that would make it squeak. And all the forward gears seem fine altho 2nd gear is the hardest of the gears to put into gear. Im not sure if thats normal or im just imagining things but it does seem to be a little rough going into it.
The rubber cup in the master cylinder has to be removed when you fill the reservoir. It usually comes out when you take the cap off but sometimes it doesnt.
The slave cylinder is in the bellhousing at the front of the transmission. The squeek they can make sometimes sounds like it is coming from under the dash. If it is the slave cylinder that is squeeking the transmission has to be removed to replace it. But check carefully under the dash first to see if you can tell where the squeek is coming from.
I meant i took the cup out and filled it and then put the cup back in. Do you know of any tests that can be done to check the slave cylinder? And also could this be causing the grinding in reverse?
How low was the fluid before you topped it up?
Most of the time when a slave cylinder goes bad it leaks. If you remove the plug from the side of the bellhousing you can see if there is any sign of a leak at the slave. If it is wet at all it is leaking. Sometimes though they can squeek because the seal in it is dried out. You just have to listen close to tell if that's where it is coming from.
Where in the pedal travel does the clutch release? Usually if there is a leak it gets air into the system and the pedal will release too close to the floor. It can cause it to grind going into gear as the clutch isnt fully releasing.
You could also have a bad synchro in the transmission too but since you had to top up the fluid that has me thinking about that part first.
In this pic the slave sylinder is #4
