Update on 50 F1

Just a few photos of my update, been a while since I posted any.
a few shots of my running boards that I had to get made as the original ones were that battered and rotten they were beyond repair

Managed to get the body in primer but not finished in time before the weather turned.
Too cold and damp to spray now, so will have to wait for Spring now

Thanks R Reed for your comments, yes it will be done for the start of the show season, will be working on it over winter, just fitting electric windows to it, then the exhaust then the upholstery and we are about there, it does drive now but I need to take it on a shakedown run somewhere to see how she handles and iron out any problems

Nice stance, nice work. It's cool once you get it all in one color, you can finally get a good idea of what its going to look like.. And yours is going to look really good. You have to be getting excited at this point so close. Spring will be here b4 you know it.

Because that is how it came to me, it always makes me wonder why people have to give negative comments on other peoples rides, if you have nothing nice to say dont say anything, I always liked this site because it is nothing but positive, so what if they are off a f2 I like it and after all that is all that matters.

Your truck is looking great, If you are happy that's all that matters.
Please give us some details of your build.......looks fairly darkside. It looks chopped? What drivetrain?
Your running boards came out nice as well.

I didn't read into the question that 51panelman was saying anything negative about your ride, it just seems like he was asking a simple question. Everyone on the forum asks questions on why and how each other have done different mods to their rides.

Good for you. Don't see many guys using manual trans behind the later V8's anymore, especially 3 speeds. Column or floor shifter?
I have an OT car with a Hurst shifted 3 speed and I love it. Fun to drive......

Its a floor shifter and can`t wait to drive it only pulled it on to a trailer, reversed it off and pulled it into the garage so its never been into second, pull it in and out of the garage but never at any speed would like to know what she will do.
