Glad you stopped by. It's always nice to have unexpected neighbors pop in. So, what kind of work are you doing in Carson City? Bdox (Bruce)works in Carson City on Tuesdays. HEY!...maybe if the weather permits, You, Bruce & myself (as well as anyone else) can meet up for lunch or coffee & have a small GTG?!

Bruce - I'm sorry to hear about your friend. My thoughts & prayers go out to you & his family.

Our pipes finally unfroze yesterday & boy, did I enjoy a nice HOT shower!
We found out that only the front half of our water heater was insulated, so that back half & water pipe were totally exposed. Jimmy wrapped the pipe with heat tape & used a old throw to wrap the water heater. We let both the hot & cold drip & left our cabinets open lastnight....Ta Da! no frozen pipes this morning! Woohoo!!!

On that note... I better get ready for the day. Think warm thoughts & drink something hot to warm your insides.

I was overjoyed to wake up this morning and my main PC won't boot. I have a massive amount of homework to get done today and am stuck doing it on a crapbook.
The PC will have to wait until tomorrow. Then I will have time to focus on repairs, I hope.

 

Well, Mother Nature wins again.

Greg - We can hope that it's just the frigid temps causing your PC to malfunction?! Keep us posted & good luck on your homework.

My morning plans just got shot out of the water. Ofcourse I know the kids are loving being on a 2 hour delay today. Damn it!...Why couldn't I ever get a delay or no school during winter back in my day? LOL!

Oh well, I'd give anything to be young again & back in school.

I may in fact be able to break away for lunch tomorrow. Just let me know when and where. I'll shoot you a PM with my cell phone. If lunch doesn't work, I'm on my own for dinner each evening and should be available evenings.

As a reference point, I'm working near the airport and staying at the Courtyard Marriott.

 

I could do a late lunch tomorrow. I work at the Brewery Arts Center. I make glass pendants and do some work with clay. I am free to come and go but need a fair number of hours there because I do some work for the center to earn my keep.
