ID this wire please

Dunno where this thing came from or what it's for

It's hanging off a harness under passenger side wiper are. It looks to run into an orange wire behind that splice clip



Another question behind the engine there are 2 metal vacuum lines running up from under the truck only 1 is plugged into the manifold should I find away to plug the second in

That section of harness is too cut up to definitively tell. The clamp splice makes it all the more suspicious; it may even be a hack.

The dual-metal vacuum line is for the automatic transmission modulator valve. There is always one line that runs to manifold vacuum; the second typically runs to the same source as the EGR valve to maintain relatively constant vacuum to the modulator valve, with and without the EGR valve open. You really shouldn't be without the EGR system, but if you are anyway, you should be able to just plug the open metal line.

Yeah this truck was deff a hack job at one time
