I don't know if Mike and Rich like being called hillbillies.....
The truck was my DD up until I bought my mom's Impala 2 januarys ago. Depending on MPG's i may use it again as a DD this winter but for sure I will be using it during the storms this year. The tires that are on it now did pretty good last year in the snow.
Every real shop was quoting $800 for the front and $500 for the rear. Plus parts.
I think I will sneak out of work early today, I've been here fixing drywall and putting offices back together after the carpet guys come through. At least my office looks like an office again.......
Which of course makes me thirsty.
Good luck not having to plug in Brandon. My truck does not like to start when its cold and unplugged, I just cycle the key a couple times and its good to go. My cord is on a timer so it doesn't turn on until 3:30 am. I am also going to put a marinco shore plug at each end of the truck to plug in from either side, ordered the plug already....and it's a good excuse to go to Mikes on a Sunday and drink beer on his hoist

same here, i just bumped my timer from 4:30 am to 4:00. i try to leave the house by 6:30 and it's been fine just being on a couple hours. think i read on here that block heater draws over 1000 watts.. that'll add up. i like the idea of the shorepower plug, read about that before. i'll be anxious to see how yours turns out.
