Got the new E rated recaps mounted on wheels for the winter With pictures

after a year and a half i decided i wouldn't buy them for a daily driver again. aside from the wear, they cracked and dry rotted in less than a year. that truck was outside 100% of the time though. for a weekend toy that lives in a barn during the week, probably a good option.
there are some virgin rubber mud tires out now that rival the price of the Treadwrights too.

I've got TreadWrighfs on my Dodge.
I got a set of four new ones when I changed wheel sizes. (Upgraded from 16 to 17 inch wheels at the same time I did a brake upgrade.)
Within 2 weeks, one had some tread separation. I emailed them a pic and they sent me another tire free of charge. Told me to scrap the bad tire. They stand behind their product.
I've got about 20k miles and two-three years on the Recaps without problems. On road, dirt and mud, towing...

I have nothing but good things to say about Treadwright tires. That said, they only sell AT and MT tires, not highway tires. Lots of people put them to highway use without problems, but they will likely be louder than what you want. I use mine for camping/hunting. I have a separate set of HT tires/rims for the wife to drive around on.
Treadwright is an all American company with an all American product. Nothing made in China there.
