Tell use about you winter project.Mine is to put a IFS and 4link in my 59.Im going with stuff from No Limit Engineering.Would like to use a CV front end but its just to wide for the look i want.
I am going to lower my truck 4" all around using Sids drop front axle and flipping front rear shock mounts and reversing front eye as well. I just got done replacing bumper bolts, front and rear marker lenses and gaskets, rubber bumpers for hood, window crank *****, among other things I have done this year. I also plan on refinishing all 3 hood emblems...
6.9 diesel in my 58 F100. 4spd trans and a 3 spd brownie with 3.0 rear gears. Lower it and use it as a shop truck, hopefully an honest 20 mpg is possible along with the coolness factor of shifting twin sticks.

First reseal the injector pump on the cummins 6atin my '59, then replace the pass side window, lastly install dynamat or whatever else I need to better soundproof the cab. 6.9 in your f100? really cool and the twin stick thing rocks. I definately need more gears in my '59 f350. Splitting then down the middle would be ideal.
Welllllllll college is my project full time lol But currently my 390 in my 74 f250 dies so im dropping in a rebuilt 428. But my winter projectfor vacation and this summer is a 59 f100 resto mod. I wont say a lot about it since ill do a build thread and keep it a surprise but 500 hp sure sounds good! Its a long bed so its a big guy. Goint to start inside out. So starting with interior then ill do exterior and the engine so after that ill have every think mocked up the way I want it then ill spray it with paint Seems backwards but eh! Keep me from scratching up paint while I fab stuff up
It's when you freeze your *** off lying under your truck on a concrete slab at night in an unheated building.Cold here is usually about 35-40 in the winter. I think the guys that live in the cold frozen climes just check out of their unheated shop for a few months........I dream of that in-floor heat with hot water circulating through the concrete and a big wood fired boiler outside. I have unlimited firewood here. BTW, I can cross off resealing my injector pump. Yay!

My winter project is cutting wood for next winter. I have the wood stove in the garage but you freeze from your knees down. Hasn't got out of the teens for awhile and now they say it is gonna get cold?!?
