Vermont December 2013 BS thread - may your stocking be full BS

Good morning Vermont, Shawn and FTE land. Have a great Saturday.
Yup, a toasty-9 at 7 here also. Up to-7 now. Wife went with the boys to meet her friend and daughter at Eaton's sugar house in Royalton.
No ex work yet. Going to mount that used plow I bought this fall onto explorer. Glad it isn't windy. Makes it a lot more enjoyable outside.
The chute on your blower will hold up. As long as you don't try to prune any trees with it. LOL

Off to the sugarhouse? Must be a bit of Christmas shopping. Good luck with that. I think we have ours mostly done.
Glad you had a chance to use the spray gun. Hope it worked for you. The Fluid Film won't make rust into metal but it does a pretty good job of stopping it, especially in enclosed areas where it doesn't get worn away. But the externals have to be done twice a year because it does wear off.

We go to Morse Farm here in Montpelier to do some of our shopping. We have close friends in Alabama that we always send a Vermont pack to. Syrup, cheese, etc. All VT stuff. They do the same with stuff from down south. Good fun to try to outdo one another.
I'll be sure to watch the curly cue snow pouring out of the snow blower. Should be fun to watch.
Have a fun day.

Got the replacement plow on the explorer. Wasn't bad, had to move two tabs on each side and weld them back on. Still need to transfer the back drag from the old one to the other one
Showing the different mounting ear widths
Showing where it bolts on and cross member modified
Showing it modified and plow mounted in
Plow on explorer, 7.5' full size plow, heavier
When I first hooked up hoses, the angle wasn't working, pump would come on for left angle but not move, pump wouldn't come on for right. It was working with the old plow. Thought maybe ice in the pistons seizing them up and maybe cable out of adjustment. So I pulled the cover off the lower compartment, in picture. So got the cover off and it was half filled with ice not letting the arm move. Cleaned out the ice and now works good.
