We used to have a male Basset in our neighborhood. That was a big dog but super short legs. You could always spot his tracks in the snow because his pecker plowed a furrow wherever he went. Poor guy.
Hey Bruce, long time and I hope that everything is going well for you. I have 5 of my own (2 males and 3 females) along with a female foster. One of my females is on the petite side for a basset and if we have more than 4" of snow, you can tell where she has been because her chest plows the snow away like a v-plow....lol.
Hey Don, busy and long. Went to Buffalo to help with an adoption event that the basset hound rescue that I volunteer with held today. We had 11 dogs adopted and possibly another one that will be adopted in a few days. It was great seeing people find their new best friend.
