Front diff cover

Can the from diff cover be replaced in TTB? it looks like it bolts on from the back, but i dont know. If it can does it requre complete disassembly of the front end?

Front diff cover

The front diff. cover is the driver's axle half of the TTB. The only way to "replace" it would be to replace the entire axle half. The driver's axle pivot, driver's steering knuckle mounts, radius arm mount, spring cup, shock mount, sway bar and front diff. all bolt to this "diff. cover". So if you wanted to replace it or needed to for some reason, it would require the disassembly of all of those components.

Yes, it is not a "cover." I am assuming that you are asking because you want to change the oil in it? The easiest way is to pump the old oil out.

Thanks you read my mind, i was just hoping it would come off, also so i could inspect it to make sure everythings all OK
