Electronic Temp Controls

I have a 98 EB expedition and i want to swap out the manual air and heat controls (the ones with *****) for the computerized ones i was wondering if any one has done this or if it is even possible.

I tried this about a month ago.....no luck. Wiring is totally different.

I would love to have manual controls......I have electronic temp controls in my 99 and they have failed three times on me now.
